Gender: Male
Age: 9 years
Location: NE Ohio
Rescue Group: Golden Retrievers In Need Rescue Service, Inc. (G.R.I.N.)
Out of State Adoptions: NE Ohio and western PA only
Bio: Chunk lost his home due to family allergies. As his name implies,
Chunk needs to take off a few pounds, but he is the sweetest dog ever! He is on
inexpensive thyroid medication, but his weight could be due to too many treats
and lack of exercise. He loves kids, is great with other dogs and he recently
met his first cat and was fine with her too. He walks like a gentleman on a
leash and is always willing to go for a walk or a car ride. He would like a
fence to run off some of that weight and will enjoy the freedom since he has
always been tied up when outside. Foster Mom has been calling him Chuck because
she can't bring herself to call him Chunk, it just doesn't fit him she said :-)
She says, "This guy is a keeper!"
